Having achieved its current reputation through research in its R&D centers in Switzerland as well as clinical trials conducted with renowned European universities and institutions since 2008, Alpinia Institute continues to carry out research and development activities and all operations in Turkey since 2021.

Combining its Swiss heritage with the rich flora of Anatolia and the vast experience of Ottoman medicine, the Institute has expanded this expertise and knowledge into its modern and sophisticated laboratories and operations center in Istanbul.

Collecting mother nature’s herbal extracts, a means of remedy used by mankind for thousands of years and supporting them with scientific studies, Alpinia Institute has established an R&D Center at Teknopol A.S. operating as part of Istanbul University of Health Sciences, which also includes laboratories for herbal extracts, formulation and analytical development. The Institute collaborates with Bezmialem University Phytotherapy Research and Application Center and Medipol University Department of History of Medicine.
